Through a ‘buy one, give one’ initiative, Oi helps Dignity give free period products to those who need them but lack access. Dignity provides Oi products into workplaces for their employees. For every pack these companies buy, another pack is donated directly back into the community through schools and other charity partners.

In 2020, Oi began working with Girl Guiding NZ to develop the Oi Period Badge, aimed at destigmatising periods for young people and raising awareness around period poverty. These girls and young women also learn about the impact that synthetic period products can have on the environment.
